Harley-Davidson Heritage Ultra TailThis page is where I will be tracking progress on the Harley-Davidson Heritage Ultra Tail (FLHTRSHCE) Engine. Both the 2000cc and 2450cc versions have the engine code 9-P22-22. I will probably focus on the 150ci (2400cc) engine because it's a stroker and the whole bigger, badder, faster, more thing. Below is a table I made up to convert numbers to 'MERICAN. I through the Ducati in just for comparisons to other water cooled twins.
I'm an air cooled guy who lives in Missouri. I'm almost proud to pollute (although I recycle my beer cans). Hence these numbers are not convincing me to switch to fuel injection or water coolness. I show the numbers for carbureted air cooled S&S catalog engines below the line. All engines are 50 state legal. Infact the 124ci engine was TUV approved March 20, 2005. Reguardless the 9-P22-22 is going to be a torque monster at 131 ft. lbs.! NEWTriumph Rocket III added by special request in the opinions page. Keep the input comming.
