This bike was in our family for over 25 years. Sold on August 30th 2007. The buyer wanted it a lot more than anyone in the family could afford to pass up.

1970 Sandcast 750 (K0)
Candy paint drippin off the ol' 750
Took the family down to H town to visit my brother over Thanksgiving. We finished up dads old K0 750. Rebuilt/calibrated 4 carbs, front caliper, master cylinder, front forks, petcock. Plus coated some new (and some old) body work with that sweet candy. Complete paint kit including primer, metalic, candy, clear was only $90 from Dirtbiker Don on e-bay. Sticker kit, replacement tank, side panels, carb kits, seals, fork boots, master cylinder kit and the rest of the stuff cost extra :)
This is the first bike that ever propelled me down the road. I still remember stradling the tank as dad took me for a ride around the block in 1972 or 3. This bike was always dads favorite. He bought it used in 1972 and parked it in 1987 (judging by the inspection stickers). It was fun to get her going again. We hope to keep her in the family for another 30 years.
Patients runs in my family, like runs away from my family. Since we had the bike ready before the paint, we set it up with a Hazel Nut (right shape :) tank from the kids minibikes. Since we were on the 3rd Coast and we had a surfboard for a seat, Vincent figured he'd give it a try. (Can't hang ten, yet :)
Besides the repaint, you can see the suttle differences in the original badges and the later tank which is redone. Both are original crinkle tanks undernieth.
The exhaust is comming soon. Screw the original exhaust, the strait pipes sound too good to my bro. His favorite trick is pulling into harley rallies. Careful giving him shit, when he kick starts it and you push a button you'll look like a f'n p00sy :) We still have the original heal guards, but the exhaust rusted out in about 1985. NewNO exhaust will be 4 into 4 one piece from header to toe.
