The mud man does it again. Aparently that Bonneville was a lot more motivating than my old plunger. My brother had this thing tore down and put back together over the winter of 2006-2007. Man did it turn out to be a sweet Brit Iron 750 Special. Click here to see what it used to look like. Telescopic forks, yeah you needed a telescope to see the end of em :) Forks, bars, and rear set controls (brits is backwards :) are noticiable as is the paint & polish. A lot of crap happens to these bikes when they sit around for 20 years, my brother has a way of turning back time. Tranny, wireing, brakes, carbs, ignition... redone with a lot of time and money. No electric start on this baby, and that kicker looks like an ankle biter with those rear conrols.
check out the rest of the story below...or see what he did to dad's Sandcast 750. I had been eyeing this 1979 Triumph Bonneville Special for over a year. When my offer was finally accepted, I didn't have the cash. So I loaded it in the back of my pickemuptruck with dad's R75/5 and delivered em to my brother in TX.
