With several bars and motels along E. College Drive, Marshall PD are often seen sitting in business parking lots at "closing time," and will stop drivers for the slightest infraction. Exiting Pine River to the east the setbacks change from close to very deep about 1/2 mile before the speed limit increases. The PRPD has frequently has radar set up on this last 1/2 mile stretch in town.
