Fort Lee, NJ - This trap covers all of the GWB bridge plaza surrounding streets, (especially around entrance to the bridge from Palisades Ave) is not only a speed trap, it's also all turns and light violations as well. This is either Fort Lee cops or Port Authority, (not sure). This one is quite unique in my experience, as they do not use a cruiser or an unmarked car, instead they are in a rectangular emergency services truck you would not normalcy give a second look. Watch for them around rush hour and over the weekends, it's usually in plain site. This has been independently confirmed by a business owner in the area.

Kenilworth, NJ - There is periodic enforcement of the 25MPH along a mile-and-a half stretch from GSP Exit 138 and the Cranford town line. Cars (black & white) park alongside the street, blending in with parked cars. Police also park alongside the road to catch drivers who violate the recently imposed No Left Turn at 14th St. and The Boulevard. The prohibition extends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., every day. A police officer told me the left turn restriction was warranted by frequent accidents at the intersection. This enforcement is frequent and strict.

Union, NJ - Just after you cross martin ave and ratitan road junction signal ( proceeding towards lake ave), there would be a cop car waiting for you on the left hand side of the road, parked his car amongst the heavy woods on the curb. The place he parks is over a blink curve so you will not see him until you have just reach the curb and it would be too late to slow down. The posted speed limit is 45 mph. The martin ave before the signal is a single lane road which is always congested.
Jersey City, NJ - There is some sort of freestanding object that shows you your speed and has an actual posted speed limit next to it. It shows your speed and if it's above the number it'll start flashing. There are usually 1-4 cop cars waiting after the intersection depending on the time of day, but I've almost always seen at least one person get pulled over every time I pass the intersection. I highly suggest you slow down as soon as you see it blink.
Jersey City, NJ - The roads in and around the Newport Mall area. Be careful because not only are Jersey City Police giving tickets, the Port Authority is handing speeding tickets, as well as tickets for not coming to a complete stop at stop signs. I see people pulled over on Washington Blvd, Marin Blvd, Mall Drive, you name it...every street in that area. A ticket can be as high as $300. The Police regularly tuck themselves away near loading docks, side streets, etc. Be careful.

Bloomingdale, NJ - From the intersection of Macopin Road and Hamburg Turnpike, Macopin Road is still in Bloomingdale for a few miles up Macopin. Bloomingdale cops routinely set up one of two types of speed traps. First type is cops at the first bend to catch people coming up from Hamburg Turnpike. The second is on the side of the road between the Macopin/Hamburg Tpk intersection and the first bend on Macopin to catch people coming down Macopin. The speed limit is 35 and the cops are not unrealistically strict but it is easy to do 45+ on Macopin.

But the 25 mph business zone(they say its residental) is strictly enforced too, because you will get pulled over for going 3 over the limit too, and even in court, they will give you a hard time fighting that. Stranger still, it goes up to 40 like 1/2 mile up, and its 35 from Atlantic Ave in Stratford to the bridge. Most of the cops hide behind the coop chicken wing place, or in the car wash, and they are quick to get u and ticket you, while not being friendly at all.
