North Belle Vernon, PA - The police cars sit along the river. The speed limit constantly changes so it's difficult to get used to. This town is one of the most notorious speed traps in the area and the police are very aggressive. I requested a hearing at the magistrates office and everyone in there had the same speed of 42 mph written on their citations. Sounds a little fishy. Best to avoid the North Belle Vernon area if at all possible.

Jefferson Hills, PA - Cop sits at the post office or sometimes you can catch him sitting at the Blue Flame Restaurant. Nice cops and no outrageous tickets but they will give them out without thinking twice. You should be able to drive at about 60mph without any problem on that 2 mile stretch but the posted speedlimit is 40mph.

There is always at least two or three police cars on this short stretch at all times of day. This is a 4 lane highway that is just a constant ticket trap.

Ever since there were deaths due to a drag race in the early 80's it has been watched. Today it is worse than it ever was. Allways following cars at an unsafe distance for no reason wanting to pull someone over. You will also find them sitting In the convenience store parking lot on the corner of 7th st And Ridge St at night allways ready to follow you and pull you over Also can be found In numerous parking lots of local bars on High St doing the same thing, Also watch out for them in the car wash parking lots as well as the body shop lot before the bridge. Watch these guys this is the police departments only income as there is little other crime in the city for the most part. Majority of the residents all have their own horror stories of this traffic happy squad. Next time your in Sharpsville ask any resident.

After crossing the Graff bridge, about 1/2 mile up, there is an overpass, he hides on the other side of it and you can't see him until you get to the other side, by then, it is to late. He used to sit there only in dry weather, since it was mud when wet, but the road was recently repaved, so they paved his hole. I have seen him nail people from this point! Also, 422 Eastbound, as soon as your pass the on ramp when 28 northbound merges with 422, after you go under the overpass, he sits in the middle, goes back and forth between clocking east and westbound traffic. He is highly visable after you pass the overpass.

Chesterbrook, PA - The local cops sit at the top of the Chesterbrook Blvd on-ramp for Southbound US-202. You won't see them because they are elevated and the overpass obscures the car. At night, they sit there all "blacked out".
